I really want a story where the “second male lead” turns out to be the male lead pleasseee

there is a reason why he is a supporting character and not male lead. I guess since you're blinded by his looks and the way he acts right now, you'll think that. In novel form if you read this same scenario, you'll just have a different input of him becoz the descriptions are vague. Only the male lead and the other prince has clear descriptions, so you already knew he is just npc charcter in this setting.

I honestly like him because he’s so earnest and stuff. The other two are also annoying cause they’re constantly there to get on the way of the MC. Like, they’re the exact opposite she wants to be with when all she wants is a lazy life where she doesn’t have to do anything or outsmart schemes and sht. Also, have you read the novel? If so, please spoil.

I'm explaining the common reaction of novel readers when there are no images to compare. Pattern tells you if you read this in novel or written form only, that he is only supporting.

Common trope found for his patterns in this introductory chapters:

-she was saved by MC that leads to his character growth
-starts helping MC out of debt (errand boy), MC asking for favors will start soon. And this is not a healthy give and take relationship.
-recurring (non) romantic character. Notice the panel when you thought they have a romantic thing going. It's not zoomed out but lets you notice a third character on the background.
