Not a isekai it’s a rebirth.
Isekai= someone from our world (mostly from japan) gets transported to the other world with their same body
Reincarnation= someone from our world (mostly from japan and South Korea) gets transported to the other world but they’re in someone else’s body
Rebirth (or something) idk= the person died filled with regrets and hatred and wants a do-over and they get said do-over with their own body. They’re basically time travelers

its not the same life yes she might have her memories but thats like saying ufailed ur test so if you get a do-over youll 100% fail again it just doesn't make sense because the people in her life before the redo treated her that way because of certain things she did or what lea did or said this life shes making her own decisions and therefore the others actions change aswell

your definition of reincarnation is more like transmigration. It is utilized a lot for chinese and korean stories especially novels which have been adapted into manhuas and -hwas that we're reading here. Reincarnation is literally what the definition of reincarnation is (ex The Lady Wants to Rest). And lastly, the rebirth def is pretty accurate.

yeah it's often confused w transmigration though. and tbh i'm not sure if my def of transmigration is accurate either. i don't usually see transmigration thrown around on these websites for reading manga/webtoons since isekai has turned into a catch all word. it's a word used more in the c and k-novel world.

this is a spoiler ? i think so beware

im pretty sure there was reasoning behind the prince's actions which is why apparently he is the ML cause i doubt the author will make the prince ML as he is if the FL is consistently describing the wrongdoings he's done to her. not 100% surjavascript:;e tho

Honestly, same. Although I do want her to get revenge by showing that she succeeds, the past was the past. It doesn't mean that those people will act that same way again since she is already changing the timeline. It's kind of petty to feel aggression towards someone who has yet to do anything wrong to her, but it definitely makes sense if she were upset/scared/wanting to avoid that person because of her previous time. Whereas she gets revenge on that dad and the girl with the blue hair, f*ck em, they can rot for all I care (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸

Thats true, but 'rebirth' isn't a genre so its probably going to go in the 'isekai' genre if so.
Am I the only one that can’t stand those certain tropes in isekai when the FL was mistreated in their past life by the ML and they just changed it in the current life to make the ML like the FL so the FL just has to accept the ML despite him literally treating her like absolute shit? Like that’s happened in like 3 other isekai I’ve read and it’s clearly happening in this one too. I just want some justice At that, the way the FL gets treated in past lives makes me think they need some sort of therapy I don’t get how they could just get with the ML that hurt them only because they showed interest in them. I get them falling in love because she’s always loved him and he’s finally starting to fall in love but the mental capacity I don’t get. Like she finally gets away from her tormentor and then by the end of the story after probably surviving a bunch of near death experiences, constant plotting and being on edge and having to navigate through social high society she’s just ok with the ML again. HOW?? How could they just settle for that???? Especially when they literally have options who would die for them (Literally Aristia)
