I think it’s because she didn’t got hurt.
If you want to find a culprit to blame and hate without remorse you have to choose someone who didn’t “suffer” from the accident.
In the carriage accident the mother died and the son can no longer use one of his arm and what the daughter was unscathed she ,who have been spare , have to be the reason of the accident and should bear the guilt and resentment
(I think they thought that way , you know people can become really stupid when they are facing misfortune and just try to find a logical reason behind it , most of the time it’s unfair for the logical reason ( if it’s a person))
But in all honesty, why was the FL blamed for the accident?? She literally just happened to be there. If anything it was the brother who should have been blamed because he was the one saved by the mom.
Like yes obviously none of them are in the wrong but like I feel like it would make more sense to hate the son rather than the daughter who was just sitting there?
