i guess he try to confirm jiwoo's worth to kayden since kayden think so highly of jiwoo. since dark wanted to be the one my kayden's side but the one that kayden choose is jiwoo. but yeah it very messed up to be saying all that even tho he was part of why jiwoo is in that state
