Basically, the Darkness Attribute, as explained in the novel, ignores all forms of defense (as seen during the battle with the Frost Queen and later in the Gate of Ordeals, where Seo Jun Ho battled the spectres of his former comrades). I find it funny because if you think about it, they're all just die hard fans of the Spectre.
