they censored the whole donghua, I reccomend you to read the novel IT'S SO FUCKING GOOD

I can't agree more. I mean i know the main characters are all the same. But without the actual bl and the scenes where u can actually see WWCand LWJ fall for each others. It somehow made their characters lack the depth that thay had in the book.
In the book a main focus is how much wwc's death made lwj suffer. He pinned on him for 16 years and u can see why. Cause it's very obvious he worshiped the dude he was sooo captivated by him. And he had regrets of not protecting and saving him.
Even the drama had more "bromance". The dunghua didn't dive that deep and skimmed over some arcs that made the book the masterpiece that it is.
I think to me. The novel and the audio drama were my favorite adaptations. Then the untamed then last the donghua
