They could just make them realize they're bi or shit, but with mangas or manhuas it usually always has to be gay or straight, nothing else exists. It is annoying
its called exploring their sexuality they might have always thought theyre straight but then they come to realize theyre either bi or pan when they fall for the same sex, its pretty common irl too i realized i was a lesbian two years ago but before that i always thought i was straight but i didnt "turn from straight to gay" i was gay from the start but didnt realize or acknowledge it
well i think authors should actually make that clear in the manhwas tho but i've seen many mangas are like "a was a straight man but had a one night stand with b, they started as fuckbuddies and ended up in a relationship" i mean atleast mention it that he realized he's just bi/pan
