I agree, but I think that if he hadn't left her alone to that degree from the beginning, the emperor would've killed her. Its gotten better now that she's older because he's managed to convince the emperor that he doesn't love her.
yeah i agree with you 100%. idk if this makes sense but if i was juvel id keep thinking that it's so unfair. like she needed the duke when she was younger, but now he shows an interest in her? when she's a grown independent woman? who doesn't necessarily need him? like dude idk why you didn't try at all with your child when she was growing up. it's a little too late homie
I know the dad really cares for her and I love seeing it when he does but when he doesn't show it to her I can understand why she's so paranoid around him. if he really cared I think he shouldn't have left her alone to that extent, kids need a loving environment when growing up and now there's a huge distance between them. I wouldn't call it neglect but with the way the dad approached things I can see why she doesn't like him that much. there's also a few misunderstandings too.
