This is a smart way of thinking about this. Even though I’m inclined to dislike him, what you’re saying makes sense, and makes me think that maybe in the future I might like him more.
Actually from the spoilers I read they said that ML never brought that b*tch(forgot her name) it was FL’s father who brought her. ML was planning on giving Elle back to FL when she was stable enough to take care of him but had to go to war & was unable to
I feel like the ML didn’t actually hate her. He told her to live her life in the previous life. But she didn’t and was afraid and traumatised by what her father imprinted on her, saying she was a curse. She wouldn’t touch her child in her previously life so off course the ML had someone take care of him. But I guess he went the wrong way about it. You should never separate a mother and child unless there’s abuse. He should have talked with her.
