Full Summery for those interested *ABSOLUTE SPOILERS*

So, once upon a time there were 3 high-school friends. Hanyul (MC), Harold (Red Head) and Dolph. Hanyul and Dolph were both parentless growing up and have been there for one another most of their lives instead. Now in HS--enter Harold, who becomes Hanyul's crush. Harold is a seemingly chill dude. No real spats with anyone, his family is rich enough to get him out of trouble, and yet he spends all his time either working on becoming an Idol or with Hanyul and Dolph...until that day. One day, after following Harold and Dolph to the mountains secretly, he discovers the true side of Harold as he has a gang of boys rape Dolph with plans to kill him and rape his corpse (yeah, good-luck shipping Harold with anyone -_-).
This causes Hanyul's world to come undone as he passes out from shock before being able to help Dolph. When he awakens, Dolph is dead and Harold has a handle on the police, so for the next 3 years, Hanyul goes on the run--taking odd jobs to survive...all alone.

Now 20(?) Hanyul works for a Chinese food delivery service and has an order for a rich and fancy hotel guest (As we later learn, this is no coincidence). There, Hanyul meats Weon (Black Hair Guy) who commands him to "Wait." while he's on the phone with someone. Instead of waiting like a lil' *itch, Hanyul takes the cash payment from Weon's wallet and dips out. This seemingly triggers the series of events that follow as Weon tracks down Hanyul and commands him to pay him back. Not just the $20 he took as payment but THE $20 he took, specifically. Since this is not possible anymore due to reasons, Weon has Hanyul become his idol on the agreement that if he becomes #1 on the charts, Weon will ruin Harold (rapist red-head) and discredit his hit song--a product of the now "dead" Dolph.

As the story continues, Hanyul opens up more and more to Weon and other idols as he recovers from the never-ending depression, guilt, and sorrow he feels. All looks well since Hanyul actually has a golden voice and Weon is doing his all to help...but something about Weon isn't as it seems and before Hanyul can notice this--he bumps into Harold for the 1st time in 3 years. Sh!t hit's the fan and Hanyul resolves to no longer run away! From here on, Hanyul is giving his all to become the best he can be as he grows more and more fond of Weon. This comes to a spiral as we learn Weon is actually a high ranking member of the Mob that runs most the country behind lucrative businesses' like Idols. Weon's father set up the Chinese delivery as a way to reintroduce Weon and Hanyul because Hanyul's horrible parents literally SOLD him to Weon's Not-Dad. Thanks to a young Weon though, Hanyul was able to continue his life (as this happened when he was 7) with Weon secretly checking in on him twice a year--until Hanyul ran away for 3 years and Weon lost contact.

Now that Weon has found Hanyul and set him up for greatness (all to make his Not-Dad money) he has come to realize how he really feels for Hanyul and has been doing everything not for his Not-Dad but for Hanyul's sake. However, due to Harold's persistent harassment and attachments to Hanyul, Weon cannot feel calm as he knows Hanyul still has connections to Harold (whether he wants to or not). Everything comes to an end after Weon leaves Hanyul alone for a few weeks and comes back to realize just how much Hanyul cares. It is revealed Dolph, the "dead" raped friend is actually alive but comatose--kept secret by Harold (and Weon) for different reasons. Now supporting Dolph's med bills and having seen him again, Hanyul is able to move on from Harold with Weon's help. Weon reveals his true nature, how he has been watching Hanyul for over a decade, and how his Not-Dad found Hanyul again after the HS BS. Due to reasons, Harold comes clean to the police and press about his involvement with Dolph as well as his song-theft. He is put under house-arrest and Weon has basically promised to kill him should he step out of line again. Hanyul returns the love Weon shows him and continues as an idol--with Dolph slowly showing signs of recovery. THE END

*I would like to point out, at no point does Weon face any repercussions for his MURDER of at LEAST 2 people. He kills the massage-employer as well as the HS bully (not Harold) and possibly his 2 friends. We see the Employer's blood all over the floor and later we see the Bully and his friend tied to chairs before Weon commands a follower to get the cinderblocks and nails...so yeah, don't think for a second Weon is a "good-guy"--he's just as bad as Harold, just maybe not as psychologically twisted.
