Probably did. But the problem with me is that when he started crying I felt bad. I'm a sucker for pretty boy tears....

I think making a larger fallout between cain and ML would have been nice. Since Cain betraying him still feels quite out of character imo.

I don’t think so, his personality was obsession to begin with (first) over his master duh (second) over the castle/ (third) over Rino the problem with Cain is that he is under estimating everyone you can see this when he first meets Ribosome too
