breaks also prevent burnouts and stuff. also, i am aware that some mangakas do get breaks once in a while (or end their manga and then plan for a sequel), but they usually don't take breaks often and when they do it's only for around a week or so. even then, theyre planning and writing during that week.
So glad that korean webcomic artist/writers can actually split their manhwa/webcomic into seasons, and take breaks as long as they want to (unlike a lot of japanese mangakas unfortunately [but this might depend on the magazine they publish their manga under]). Coming up with a story, writing it, and drawing it, is HARD esp when you're on a weekly or even monthly deadline. Breaks are well deserved and needed in order to maintain a healthy mind and body
