As mentioned in the webtoon, Judith hated Luca because of his "appearance", but the reason wasn't because she felt inferior compared to Luca's superior looks. It was in fact because Luca looks like the father who took away her sister. Judith actually loves and cherished her sister a lot but died after recently having Luca, so her resentment turned to him.

In the end though, Judith never really hated him (even gifting Luca her only portrait of her sister to him), except the Winterwald family and plotted revenge against them.
