Not rly. She was just like elena. Her union w the prince was political and elena later realizes that the prince !ight have been more indifferent to the empress. In the current timeline, she will not become empress bec the prince is already in love w elena. And cecilia will be so happy she got out of the engagement lols.
So the girl who was the original empress, the chick the prince looks for a lot, is she a bad guy? Could she have influenced the prince in a bad way when he married Elena disguised as Veronica? Because it seems that way to me if he’s slowly accepting the fact of Lucia being pleasant to be around.
