very clear that he was lingering on him saying "waiting", it struck him that now he's slowly moving on for someone who could do something he couldnt do. and its looking like hes regretting it. yeah waiting for 5 years is def longer than a couple of min but he honestly didn't get over him and used the other guy as a rebound :/
