Yeah, it’s kinda obvious. Author made it clear so what is confusing about it for people?
Maybe they are used to reading novels or Manhwas where the writer basically just shoves everything in the reader's face right in the beginning lmao
To all the people saying we don't know anything about her goals- we actually do. Before Luka was supposed to leave she was planning to live a peaceful life in her village but after she had to go with Luka, her goal was to protect him and ensure his happiness for the future. The story she is living in was her favourite story and Luka her favourite character so it's of course a no brainer that she doesn't want her favourite character, a child atm to suffer the way he did. I think this is something all of us can relate with at a carnal level- it's an instinct to protect. Maybe her goal will change again in the future but right now it's only taking care of Luka.
