I think it’s a form of coping mechanism. Because if you were suddenly rip apart from the only life you know, and forced to live in a world that you are not familiar of? I would want to attach myself to the one thing that is familiar which is the storyline. Cause it’s the one thing that reminds you, “ i am me. I lived in a place called Korea....” it’s the FL way of getting over the shock and horror that they may never go back to their original life. Cause it’s the only thing that is constant and same from her first and second life. Also, the fl just got dropped in the middle of nowhere. I would rely heavily on the novel storyline to understand the situation I got myself into.

I get that, who wouldn't be shocked suddenly living in another world, but what irritates me is the fact that they (every fl of THAT kind) cast aside the feelings of the ppl of the other world like they're false, that they make no sense and automatically cast them aside. It bothers me so much (/TДT)/

Transmigrators, I think, usually believe in the power of the plot. Lyk despite their interference, the world will correct itself acc to the plot so they try not to change things too much. I think that was MC's line of thinking considering that the ML's ppl in the temple did rebel and ML almost died so I guess she also thinks ML will likewise fall in love w the saintess. Besides MC does care abt the ppl/monsters in that world wc is why she heals them even though it hurts her so she doesn't totally treat them as characters.
A little denial of feelings is part of the process of falling in love ykno. And honestly the ML fell in love w her too fast so if I were here, I wouldn't have also reciprocated that fast.
I just hate when a reincarnated person in a novel treats every person in there as if they're only a character. Like you're there, you live in there, now that's your world, why would you kill of the people's feelings like they're made out of paper?
I get it that that world is one from a novel, you read it and knows how it will end, who ends up with who , but I see a lot of reincarnated fl that just don't give a shit about the ml feeling because "he's supposed to stay with the FL of the novel" that's just cruel and unreasonable.
They are living people there, as you are, you can't go with "no you don't love me, you're supposed to be with fl from novel" like
You probably are doing it for their own good BUT THAT'S NOT IT, THAT'S NOT THE WAY.
People like this fl rely on their knowledge from past life about the novel WAY TOO MUCH, they think everything will go as the novel described because they read it. Was you reincarnating on the novel world also part of the novel? Like just you being there ruins the so called "plot of the novel"
But again who am I to say this when I haven't died ONCE by truck-kun's doing? Hurry it up truck-kun
