Because Shiyun how ever you spell his name was in the stary Lake, with River and gone into the light in his stead, and when he did that, his soul the thing that gave River all his powers and immortality from aging that was originally shiyuns went with him and changed River back to his original body. But he couldn’t breath underwater anymore and almost got reincarnated (I think) and Heil saw River in the lake and so was worried. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
