isn't bellerophon like 3 years older than her? that would be really weird since they both have two completely different levels of maturity(〜￣△￣)〜
I don't think that would be a problem, it's not that big of a gap.
Not really. Maybelle had an easier time interacting with Bellerophon than Abel because sometimes Abel's antics overwhelmed her especially at the start of the series. it's not become a big deal later because Maybelle's built her confidence and won't felt intimidated by Abel when he trash-talking Phon or his brother (Maybelle FLINCHED when she heard Abel called his brother fool. it triggers her lowkey trauma). she said it herself (albeit being baited by Bellerophon) that she prefers sweet person. If Maybelle has a problem or needs explanations usually she will go to Khan or Bellerophon first.
Phon get all of the advantages because having Khan as his nanny, Rykell and Duchess Kyle (aslan's mother) as his teacher gave him a good start in the maturity & knowledge department. he can hide his childishness and emotions pretty well except when his trigger is pushed (anything related to imperial family, and ABEL'S PROVOCATIONS. yes. his maturity level depleted to 40/100 because of stupid sense of rivalry between boys lmao, Rykell even threatened both to sleep outside because they kept bickering all the way while shopping for groceries.)
Adult Maybelle is a mild female version of Rykell in term of "I don't give a damn" although her personality now more resembles Galatea. She nonchalantly gave a suggestion Phon to brawl with Abel as a way to refreshing and secretly counting how many times those two boys bickered and fight for her own amusement.
Alber's such a gem. I knoe they're just kids but I am so torn right now if I should ship Mabel with Bellerophon or Alber. They are both so gentle and loving towards Mabel!!!! Aaaaaaaaaa (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
