If I was the FL, I wont kill my father, rather Id prolong his pain by getting everything he desired as mine. Id take over the kingdom and seize all his power and influence in order to gain what he most desired.
Id make him and the other daughter watch as I out best him in anyway possible. it would ruin both his perception and beliefs of the uselessness of the FL
