I rarely get second male lead syndrome, but when I do, it’s mostly more about the main guy not being right for the mc imo.
yeah, i’ve also liked the second lead before but people who are always into the second lead seems like they always think the “grass is greener on the other side”. I know for a fact a lot of them would drop the second lead if a third lead were to appear
I don’t get second male lead syndrome.
For me they are always someone who is getting between two people that are into each other. Giving them a sad backstory or a relatable POV doesn’t negate the fact that love isn’t about “deserving” someone. Oushi’s cute but that’s it.
