I'm not sure about it. She could just ask for it, but she'll blow up her cover as a "cute child". I'm not sure if it's real manipulation, because she's more trying to convince or to lead people to some conclusion. To manipulate someone would be to make them do things your way without them clearly understanding what is going on... I think she is most of time straightforward with what she wants but had to "convince" or "at least explain her thought process".
So, I'm not sure about where the "manipulation" part is coming from. When I think of manipulation, I think our usual foxy villainess like in Hourglass - they make people do things they wouldn't do if they had full understanding of their actions.
She's a child :'v and a noble child at that. She's almost expected to be a brat.
Yes I know she's very mature cause she's lived for a long time, but everything she's doing is to save herself and her loved ones.
And to be objective people are easily manipulated when they're blinded by greed,hate or love and affection, she's using her witt to survive or create a better future. The only person who truly loves her is her father, her grandfather is just observing her and nurturing her so that she'd take over his role.
Her aunt also loves her as well as the twins (kinda right?) and her cousin (the nice girl)?
I believe grandpa dotes on her a lot. Of course he sees her potential, but recently, it seems to have taken a liking on her.

Manipulative in a good way??(or its not manipulation) I love how our mc put things in order. I also appreciate that she knows her limit (age), she seeks most appropriate person to deal with the problems (cause she's still a child).
She's a li'l bit pushy, with her demands and it is a must, but we know that her demands, will be good in the future.
