yeah , I think he's just got scared after that as thingy and also his father's in politics so maybe not to affect him , he gave up , like I can understand as I'm also a part of closeted lgbqt+ and also live in a conservative country, which is also quite racist and homophobic so guess he just didn't want to affect his family

He threw his past of liking a guy and pretty much tried to date girls to conceal things...
