Considering how it seems that MC was the only one in her family (outside of her grandma) that had light purple eyes, and considering that they are a fallen noble family, chances are that they did have some blood relation with the royal family or someone related to the direct royal family (like a cousin or something) but it was many generations ago, and the purple eyes just appeared in her because of genetic randomness. But also knowing books and authors, there is definitely more to this story cuz Chekhov's gun (every item explicitly mentioned in a story should have relevance: don't mention a gun on the wall in chapter 1 if you aren't going to shoot it by chapter 3)

Its too confusing to think of all the characters that would be related if that is actually true. So could you please tell me which people would be related and in what way please.

I did the family tree, bio mom and bio dad are 2nd cousins, once removed. Which means that bio mom and is in the same generation (aka 2nd cousins) with bio dad's mom (the emperor's purple eyes daughter, dukes first wife)
I actually hope Judith isn’t in any way related to Vanessa because that would be very Alabama-esque
