So the prince was so angry bcs of the attempted murder of his sister but when he saw juvel taking her own life he tried to stopped her and the knife was given to her as a protection not to kill herself. The father's cold demeanor and affection are a facade for her not to be used as a hostage of the king. I hate how juvel always go with her misunderstandings but the father is also at fault bcs he can't speak properly to his precious daughter.
