He had the chicken in a box that was similar to this one http://cdn3.volusion.com/cqop7.se3q3/v/vspfiles/photos/304-1233-2.gif?1451982097 and he just handed it to the people in the postal office.

The dude probably had family in the US that wanted chickens to breed or eat in a soup. I'm pretty sure there are chickens in the US so I don't see why he needed to send one. American chickens don't taste the same? Maybe it was a rooster and it was for cockfighting? Anyways, I hope someone gives it water cuz it ain't exactly cool around here.

Why would he send a chicken? I had to google:"Why would a person mail a chicken."
Judge me ( ̄∇ ̄") Haha! Apparently, google has no answer. (Of course! Dumb me!)
Anyhow, it would seem that baby chicks has a higher survival rate compared to...well, their adult counterpart when sent via mail.
Who knows, they might be for breeding or something.I hope that chicken or rooster will have a relatively quiet and comfortable trip.

Hopefully it won't die on the way. I don't know why he would mail it, we boricuas are special so after thinking about it, I wasn't surprised someone sent a chicken through the mail. Lord knows what other random things people mail around here. My mom sends dulce de lechosa through the mail and that needs to be refrigerated or it goes bad.

Um, I just thought I'd put that out there...

(≧∀≦) Sorry about that! I offer you a picture of two chicks with hats as an apology. http://36.media.tumblr.com/fae53bb417a27357c8f0701b0b18a673/tumblr_nw874bJRqw1u0vxozo9_1280.jpg
I was in the postal office and I saw a dude mailing a chicken. I did not know you could send animals through the mail. You learn something new every day. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
