i made an observation and a comparison, ive never said i didnt like this. i was saying this is a different angle of seeing why sovieshu-rashta works as "love transcends class" in remarried empress and why their indecent grand gesture of PDA is enraging and why this is also works as such in this webtoon but theyre endearing. this is hardly an opinion, this is an appreciation. if you dont like my bad opinion, which is hardly an opinion at all, i dont know why you even bother with me maam

I get that this is your opinion, but tbh if you don't have nothing nice to say don't say it at all. (If you think you didn't say anything bad you literally just said "the FL doesn't know her place") and if I didn't know any better I'd think you don't like the main characters which makes up this whole manga, which also implied that you don't like it. (You don't have to straight out say it, I can just read in between the lines.)

thats alright apologies if i come across as riled up too. maybe i didnt think this through, but the scene when they bit of a part of their fingers and had a moment in their wedding banquet while the crown prince and the empress became appalled is when i realised theyre reacting so much like when i react to rashta and sovieshu whenever theyre on PDA antics. its an imperial formal occasion, but the two of them behave like it wasnt, and everybodys enraged. in remarried empress we see this and be fed up at rashta and sovieshu, but in here we understand why they did it. thats why this practically an appreciation for each authors bc they can take 1 similar nuance and create a whole different reactions from the readers. i have to admit i didnt think through about how people would perceive this lol, i was just thinking out loud, ig

I get what you mean but the difference is one is trash while the other isn’t
Let me elaborate
In remarried empress the emperor and trashta deliberately tried to make our queen look bad. Usually in stories with villains the only reason we side with the ex slave or heroine is Bc the villain is an actual villain who tries to kill the heroine repeatedly but in remarried empress our queen doesn’t do that, she’s a nice person who tried to an extent (given her position) understand her “husband”
In this one our heroine is actually kind and isn’t taking someone’s spot (not being a home wrecker)
I get where u can see some comparisons but there also very different and not something a lot of people want to relate to since one is pure and genuine while the other is manipulated and wrong

I agree, I couldn't help but laugh a bit when I saw how the author used the Cinderella trope for Remarried Empress. I think it's a common trope to see in stories, both positively and negatively, because of how widespread class systems and their issues are.
Seeing a familiar concept being used in a different way, I further appreciate how authors can use the same tropes but get such different reactions from the readers through different points of view and character personalities.

This is pretty different, the Empress here is his mother and the Empress from Remarried is the wife.
Also YY is not actively trying to ruin the Empress' life whereas Rashta is trying her best to do that. AND the Empress here is the one actively trying to ruin their lives while Empress Navier really couldn't give 2 damns.
Also SHY isn't a piece of shit lmao
i feel like if sovieshu and rashta from remarried empress has a spinoff from their pov, this ML and FL is literally the splitting image of them. FL is saved from exploitative, abusive household, doesnt know court etiquette, is meek, still recovering from the trauma she was saved from, and dont know better about aristocratic hierarchy (in short, doesnt know her place), while ML uses everything in his power to keep her from actually performing duties and engage in court in the pretense of protecting/keeping her for himself only. i understand the empress, this might have been quite the scandal to have a legitimate wife whose job is to only look pretty and sate a goblin king.
also makes you appreciate authors and writers more to put things on perspective where you can root for 1 but absolutely despise the other
