I'm really sorry, I know this is completely unrelated, but your timestamp is saying April 28 and it's really tripping me up(mainly because it's still the 27th where I am). But, relatedly, I completely understand not liking Slan. It kind of irks me whenever things like that happen in reincarnation/time travel stories, where a character swears to not make the same mistakes they did in their past life yet they still do. But I always say to give the "new" old ml a chance, ya'know? They haven't yet made the same mistakes in this life that they did in the past one, meaning that they can unintentionally redeem themselves. So I'm not sayin' to trust Slan in the least, but in this run, he hasn't given a reason not to yet!

Well at the time in the comic, as can see, we don't know anything. Granted we know that the prince doesn't know what he's done to her in past also doesnt know that she is the dukes daughter. So at the current time, he is seen as a bad person. Bc well we've only gotten her side of it.
Sian only ignored her in the past and avoided giving her any love (based on his relationship with the real Veronica, it made complete sense). But there was a reason why he was this way with her, but he never was a bad person to her. She is just trying not to get her hopes up, because she knows that the crown prince will never love « Veronica »
