seriouslyyy~ it's sad that we get excited and happy over consent in these works when it's literally the bare minimum (more like a must in sex) but yeah that's what happens when r*p* is dressed in different ways to romanticize or make it "okay" when it never is. there's so much more conflict that can be fleshed out instead of centering the growth of a relationship around developing from a dubcon to "they're dating so no must mean yes more" sex
i completely agree! this was such a refresher considering most of these types of plots have non-con / dub-con content whereas this was just really wholesome from start to finish & is highlighted really important things too (consent & mindful of age) ! idk, despite what some ppl might say, i think it's a really well-done story given the number of chapters it spanned. (i wish there were some extra one-shots tho :/)
i was really surprised that the comments didn't really like this as much as i did. almost felt ashamed that i enjoyed it. but i re-read this soon after i read it the first time and really it did a good job at working with a plot without banking on the problematic tropes. and yes if there's anything bad about this it'd be the lack of after story extras :((((
reading the comments and having people call it dumb or on crack makes me ???? like i genuinely enjoyed it?? lol idk man but seriously this was great?? the pacing was a bit fast but i guess that's what happens when the chapters are short and there's only 10 chaps in total but i really liked how the mc went through with his life (it's unfortunate that they didn't end up on good terms with his friend after he rejected him but at the same time there's circumstances like that too). also i was surprised that the teacher didn't take the opportunity to immediately fork his just graduated student like finally an adult who tried to not let his libido get the best of him.
