They're the same person. It's just that the black-haired one (the same person just changed to the point of not being very recognizable.) doesn't have the same feel as brown-haired mc. Imo, brown-haired mc had a lot more character than the black-haired mc. But no, the same person sadly.
i still miss brown haired mc. he had MUCH more character than the new black-haired one. it almost feels like the story is just becoming another "different world, gain power and get ALL of the hot women" story. as much as I like those, it's kinda boring and repetitive.
