I mean, take a look at what’s she’s done. She has plenty of other victims and the Princess is one of them. Black magic goes against their god.
Oh I wasn't passing on her morality, just that she would've been interesting depending on the framing. Ppl are saying her backstory adds nothing to the story wc I find baffling since it adds more depth to her character and to the story.

Tbh I think it does need lives of living people. She made a deal with a demon. I’m not sure though I don’t remember if it does or not
But I think if the POV was reversed, the villain would've been an interesting MC. Based on the chapter, innocents were killed too during the purge of black mages so it makes sense she has a grudge against the imperial family.
Anw can anyone remind me why the black mages are hated? Are they evil (How so) or just stigmatized?
