I get where you’re coming from I agree with sex being just an extra/bonus but I think it just has something to do with finding their sxuality—
Theres gonna be people who will be in denial at first because its so new to them
They never imagined going out with the same gender because the concept never entered their mind (so then they wonder if they can even do it with the same gender)
They can like someone but that wont register until they accept their sexuality because other wise theyd deny it
The whole ‘i cant imagine doing anything further with this person so that must mean j dont like them’ is something i can understand
Especially if the person never liked anyone before hand
“Can I actually date someone of the same gender? Can i do more than just skinship?”
Those questions are actually p important because there are straight ppl who are a bit curious then freaks out last second when it comed down to it (kissing or more)
Which will end up hurting the other person more
I feel bad for joon but yoon did the right choice- he NEEDS to figure put his feelings first because if hes unsure then thatll only hurt joon

Wtf! Second trauma by same guy
Also love isn't something only about sex. I never understand why characters thinking about sex for understand their feelings. Of course it is normal want to have sex with someone you love but sex isn't whole feeling. Sex just comes extra with love for me.
