I think since Judith didn't like him like other girls made him fell in love with her cuz he never met anyone like her. Plus he saw how good Judith is with Luca so double the charm I guess? Kinda funny tho how all the servants are trembling just at the sight of him lol
Because he’s a cluelessly smooth man. This author has a knack for those characters. He’s like Meyer from “It’s a Misunderstanding That I’m the Final Boss’s Lover” their other novel. Which also happens to be the cover in the notification tab for whatever reason....

now srsly, why is Rudy being so... thoughtful towards Judith? I mean, I would understand if we were a few months in after meeting each other, but they've known each other for, like, 1 week?? And it's not like she's done something so great to warrant his attention-- besides raising Luca, of course.
