Right. Even the black plague have a cure. I heard the only hope for survival is to make sure the patient of smallpox gets taken care of properly like hydrated and nutrition wise. Sigh..... I really can't imagine the pain of losing my kids one by one and now another one got a smallpox ugh I'd go crazy
He didn't become a tyrant without a reason. His mother died, his six children died, and now his favorite son is sick. A lot of the tyrants in history killed without reason but the king has mental issues, anyone that lost seven people dear to them would go mental, so he's not actually too bad of a tyrant, not saying that he's a good ruler but he's not as bad as emperors like Caligula or Nero. I hope that our MC can help fill the hole in his brother's heart and make him a better ruler. However, the court officials piss me off. They talk about smallpox as an issue but don't look for solutions to prevent or cure it, they basically just told the king, "Oh, smallpox is an issue. It's your fault." The king's son literally had smallpox so hearing that would literally make anyone mad, no good parent would wish for their child to get sick with a disease with a high mortality rate. Plus, without modern knowledge, it would take hundreds of years before smallpox could be potentially cured or prevented. Although this is historical fiction, if that Korean tyrant is actually a real guy, and that was the reason he went mental, I feel for him.
