Well my grandpa was a soldier too. A retired one. He went to war on his teen too. But he told me a story everytime he went to war, he would said to my grandma not to wait and just think the worst to happen; like he being dead. He said it so my grandma will toughen her heart. And he only asked my grandma to pray for him, for his wellbeing..
