Right every bad character must have a sad childhood like the male lead is a jerk "oh but he had a sad childhood" like I don't care like as a child I 100% understand I pity you and agree with you but as an adult like why it was your choice to not grow up like most of them act like people that they hated in their childhood and I am like (●￣(ｴ)￣●)
Like I am sorry about your childhood but why why would you stay in your childhood forever you could do some much stuff why focus your whole life on only on your sad childhood you could find and create a good life but it is you that decided to stay there and because of that you had a sad life instead of just a sad childhood like if you hate people hurting you and mistreating or killing your loved ones why do it to other people (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Honestly that whole chapter could've been a couple frames and I would've been fine with it LOL villain/ess being born because of the death of their parents/their kind's oppression by the protagonist is definitely a very common trope but they be acting like this is a revelation to the readers lmao
