i totally agree with you but remember when the brother told her about her 7th lie she looked rlly shocked so im thinking maybe she didnt know about the other lives and only her brother or something like that i might be wrong
She was shocked because before that moment he mocked her and said she was only saying that she had lived 7 lives because she wanted attention. Its only when he wants to justify the fact that he wants her to die that he brings it up like he actually believes her. Shes shocked at his hypocrisy.
Like @Nightmare said, he bring it just to cover his real wish. There never another lifetime, just one repeated, remember her dialog "ahh a familiar noise" she know where she will wake when regress.
Ofc she would shocked, cuz she always thinking her brother will really save her in the next regression, but now knowing the reason why its never happen.
And what if her brother know she is the heir. At chapt 2 she said "ofc it should be me inherited (the skill) you will never have it, not until i die"
