I feel the definition way but hey at least it's not as bad as Its no use hanging on .... At least the artist tried to give some effort into detailing and the characters actually look alive.
It would be wayy prettier if it was done by the artist of Who made me a princess or The way to protect the fl's brother
yall would complain ab anything... fr like the art is fine. Do you know how long it takes to draw a panel for a manhwa? And most of these series are released weekly too, imagine spending a lot of time drawing something only for people to bitch ab how it doesn't match their standards, thats so rude.
And comparing their art to others is also fucking wack? Like i know you can prefer art styles but thats so disrespectful to the amount of work put into this. Those manhwas do have stellar art, but you don't need to put other manhwas down... like you guys will complain about anything. Try drawing one chapter yourself and we'll see how much detail you can put into it yourself, jfc
Actually I am well aware of how hard it is to draw or paint anything.
You re right about not considering the hard work of any artist and that we shouldn't compare any art styles with each other by a common high standard.
That being said, I still think the current artist/art style doesn't really fit this story.
Because when I read the original novel I imagine sth more in the art direction of The Way to Protect the Female Lead's Older Brother.
I don't see where we put down the art style of this manhwa. We just shared our opinions without slandering the art style of this manhwa in a civilised manner. I could understand your anger if we used crass words to insult the artist which, however we didn't do.
When there are so many beautifully drawn isekai webtoon like I will be the Matriarch, WMMAP, AIWTRO it's naturally our eyes would instinctively detect the difference and we are allowed to voice out our opinions in a respectful manner.
This is called constructive criticism which many of the artists and authors desire to improve their skills and popularity. Stop getting worked up over trivial things and swearing. We are well aware of how hard and taxing it is to draw even a single chapter so kindly don't act like you know us.
Comparing one art style to another is slander? Literally you said this would be better if it was done by another artist... that is not constructive criticism.
Differences between art- and yes that is due to different artists having different styles... and saying one style is superior to another is demeaning to the artists work as that is how THEY draw and saying how someone else draws would be better for something they worked hard for IS rude.
And dont use backhanded comments as constructive criticism?? Your comments dont provide any methods to improve skill, like saying "oh, it would be nice if the lighting was more strong here, it'd emphasize the mood of the scene more" is fine but only saying the art is too simple is not constructive at all jesus.
And putting what you said is "constructive" criticism in another example:
Say you wrote a paper for a class, and when you get your grade back all your prof leaves for a comment is that its too simple and that another peer wrote their paper way better than yours.
That is not constructive at all, how tf does that help you? And that is pretty much what your previous comments imply.
The art style of "Wish to say Farewell" didn't bothered me that much. Or I didn't care about it.
I was more annoyed about the logic of the story and characters that I find personally problematic.
The abused modern Korean victim girl has to suffer in a trash novel world, the MLs/many male characters becoming all obsessive with her which in turn makes her more of a target and putting her more in danger, no mutual communication to create effective solutions, the (beast) slave falling in love with her master (very bad harmful trope), the og heroine becoming more evil jealous etc...
After reading Beware Of The Villainess, The Pet Of The Villainess, The Monster Duchesss & The Contract Princess, The Untouchable Lady or The Lady & The Beast (Little bothered about the implied colorism) and The Villainess Lives Twice I have no more patient for weak FLs who can only be saved the princelike tsundere ML...
It is better not to react to "enryia" anymore. That person clearly doesn't want to find a middle ground with us and just wants to win for the sake of being right/in the moral high ground. Also the way she responsed to our arguments let me suspect that she projects her personal anger or issues on us.
Are you perhaps blinded by your own opinions so much that you can't even regard or try to take others point of view or their opinions.
Why do you think some of the comics that had mediocre art at the beginning end up improving after a couple of chapters or a season?? That's because many of the people express their dissatisfaction in the original naver site and the artist and his /her team take these comments into account and try to improve their art / plot etc. That's how authors / artists etc improve. In a genre like isekai fantasy where the new webtoons are popping everytime with naturally focussed on detailed art and pretty aesthetics, people's opinion about one or 2 webtoons are bound to differ.
And what I said was about detailing which means that more emphasis should have been drawn on to the characters clothes, bg, face and body proportions etc.
Some of the people even expressed their difference in the change of art style of Second Coming of Gluttony in either positive or negative sense. That is just people's opinion and mind you I never said that the art of this comic is bad or anything. I just said that more detailing would make out the theme of the mc's power more attractive like Roxanna's butterflies.
I don't understand why people have to fear writing a single sentence to express their opinion on the comment section because people like you who just want to exaggerate stuff. Stop lashing out over a little opinion
That's true. I couldn't understand how she was OK with transitioning into a a typical damsel in distress when her upbringing and lifestyle till then was drastically different. The plot was a mixture of all the cliches mashed together. Those manhwa names u mentioned are the reason why I can't really digest these type of fls anymore. It's understandable that but everyone can be a genius tactician or a swordsmaster but the mc can at least take a stand for themselves by thinking of self defence tactics.
I recommend reading Kill the villainess -- the mc has one of the most realistic reactions to getting transmigrated into the body of a villainess surrounded by toxic male leads.
P S. -- I shouldn't have responded since I read your message later. I will stop from responding to "enryia" from now
I was bothered by the fact that she wanted to see her parents again even though it is officially stated in the novel that they pretty much prioritized her brother over her (giving her less financial support in anything) and when she returned at the end, she had a talk with them about her worries but she realized they can never understand her...
I really wanna see a FL who doesn't regret cutting off her toxic family for good.
Recent discovery: The Untouchable Lady, I don't love you anymore or Your regrets are too late.
Queen Bitch Melissa lowkey doesn't give a damn about her family in South Korea anymore because she knows how shitty they are...
At least Anakin transmigrated in her world to be with her.
By the way, the sorceress in KtV is so underrated^^
That bit bothered me too. I felt that her reason of returning was that it was not her world -- for it was a just a fictional world whose residents she doesn't even regard as true human beings but rather as 2D cutouts (reference to her thoughts about Anakin and his little bro). She also spoke coldly to her mother before and victims of neglect often end up getting guilt ridden later (highly prevalent in Asian families where gaslighting and victim blaming is common). I think she just wanted to have the last talk with her parents and vent her feelings out which she did later after returning home. According to the spoilers she walks out after realising that her parents never realised their toxic parenting even after she said it out. This might imply that she finally cut them out if her life (which I hope so). Plus it is said that the world has nothing of the things she liked and grew up with i e her friends and her fav songs so it's understandable and pretty realistic
I liked "I tamed the tyrant..." until I realized the author just had to introduce the unappreciated Second Male Lead (Syndrome) and I am getting annoyed of the dark haired tyrant prince ML who is naturally stronger, superior and multitalented than the FL
( ̄へ ̄)
I have the same problem with the dark haired ML with a tragic background given "godlike/cursed" power and being very priveledged in The Lady Wants to Rest and The Villain Daughter Enjoys Her Seventh Life as a Free-Spirited Bride (Hostage) in a Former Enemy Country. The FL whom we have seen her struggle and how she earned her power is easily bothered and undermined by the superior brooding tsundere ML...
Why do they suddenly become interested in her??? Just because she is now sending the single she is not like other girls or she is so unique you must have her logic(⊙…⊙ )
In Actually, I was the Real One Keira returns at the end of the novel to her fucking father who actually caused her misery, the deaths of his two wives and creating the apocalyptic demon!
This is a real NO GO for me!

I wish the art style and certain scenes would be more detailed/emphasized and less simplefied.
I mean look at the art quality of Beware of the Villainess and The Way to Protect the Female Lead's Older Brother....
Because I really liked the novel version chapters I had high expectation about the manwah adaptation...
But it is still ok.
