What do you mean? For at least this manga, there wasn't much in the 'first storyline' outside of them falling in love and dying by mother's hand. If we stuck with it, this manhwa would be a tragedy not a romance.
Technically it'd be both a romance and a tragedy, but that'd still be an interesting plot to read. I'd say it would have been successful on its own.
Hmm... I think what really missed out in the second story line was the first impressions between the king and the daughter for me.
In the previous timeline, they mention that the daughter did not trust the king at all. Which is a valid reason. I would imagine her trying to escape multiple times and getting scared whenever she does something infront of the king. Also the death of the daughter was kind of a excuse to get her to go back in time :v
But in this second timline, she already knows the king is kind and the king is also kind already judging by the first timeline. For me. Its kind of a meh. Wouldnt they just fall in love without any development?
