Ok thought about it, the love interest is not sympathetic at all to me. He hasn't done anything as Andrew or as himself to make me feel like I should be cheering for him. He's done the BARE MINIMUM of politeness, it's just the mc is desperate for a friend. I know how it's gonna go but I wish I could root for the guy
