Yh but he would have still asked for help, he wants to do it completely by himself without help cause then he may feel like he owes him one, even if it means that he has work himself to death to achieve it he would probably still do it, cause that’s they type of person he is, just won’t let his pride down
Some of you have never been poor or in his position before and it shows, like Yh he may be ‘prideful’ but that’s how a lot of us are, we just can’t accept money without it looking like a charity case and that scholarship would have really helped him
