I'd like to support the author through purchasing the official and reading there but sometimes I can't afford to hence why I read from a site like this but if you can balance your reading between offical publishing and unofficial uploading sites like this it's better than nothing I suppose.

I think it's the harassment that is affecting their mental health. It sounds stupid to say she's suicidal over illegal uploads, otherwise it just sounds like a shame tactic. I could see the bullying and harassment causing her distress and I could sympathize with that.

It's very disrespectful of you to try and invalidate someone's suicidal thoughts. This is their only way of making money, and having that stolen is enough of a reason to struggle. How would you feel if others made assumptions and accusations about your mental health and hardships?

If you're using your suicidal thoughts to threaten, it's lost all validation for me. Get help, because I'm not giving into BPD-like threats. Don't sit their and dangle your life on the hands of other people, that's sick. They need help.

Uploading a chapter "late" would help the author. Cuz the problem is that people r uploading chapters on the same day that it got released from the the legal website. Authors are barely getting paid so this would help a bit. Now who tf is going to spend money when u can save it and read a chapter here for free? Not a lot of people. People that are anticipating for the next chapter (especially this one) would definitely pay for a chapter on Lezhin to see whats happening next.

please read what i just said. the author felt like that bc someone else was uploading their work in illegal websites like this. so uploading “late” wouldn’t make much of a difference because the author is essentially upset mainly at the illegal upload and not at the time of the upload.

idk why people seem to forget that everyone is reading here in this site bc they can’t afford to pay for this. in the end, people who can’t afford it still won’t pay for it so the authors still won’t get much more than usual. they’ll probably just look for other alternatives/other stories.

i mean, when mangago went down for weeks, did the authors see a skyrocket in their earnings? most probably not. everyone just waited and looked for other alternatives/illegal websites to read it for free still. that’s how piracy works.

so no, uploading late really won’t make much of a difference in their earnings. people will spend if they wanna support the author but if they can’t afford it then they’ll just wait/look for free alternatives or they just won’t just read it all. it’s useless to pretend like uploading late would make you a better person for it if you’re still contributing to piracy in the end.

But this site is the most popular? People run over here cuz they know that someone is going to upload the newest chapter after its been released. If people want to go ahead and read on other sites cuz they uploaded it faster, let them. Even tho theyre not getting much. Giving the author even the tinyist amount of money would totally give them motivation to even continue the story. Of couse if u cant support the author thats totally fine. But u can do a little by being patient and waiting a few days at least for a chapter to be out so the author can get some cash.( and u can get 3 coins every week.........ignore this if u already know this)......if u login to lezhin on monday, wednesday, and friday)

and again... this is not gonna help in this case because the author is mad mainly at the issue of illegal distribution. whether the uploaders decide to upload late or not still won’t matter because they’re still uploading it illegally. the author will still get suicidal over the illegal uploads even if they’re late. meanwhile, people will wait for as long as they could just as long as they get something for free so no profit there honestly.

i have more of an issue with the people who are pretending that them uploading late would make a difference and that “the uploaders are horrible for not uploading it late and that anyone who thinks otherwise are inconsiderate”. like please... if you guys really cared about the author then you would stop reading this manhwa illegally and go buy it legally right now.

if people really cared, they should drop this manhwa right now and not read any of the uploads anymore. not suggest “upload it late then” and in the same sentence, say that it’s because they care for the author lol. care for the author by still encouraging illegal distribution? yeah sure... it’s just honestly hypocrite-like behavior.
