I’ve been to in elementary school as well. I did forgive people who genuinely apologized, but since she didn’t, I would still hold grudges. If they ain’t gonna apologize I’m not gonna forgive them, so I wouldn’t act like him. Also the reason why it makes me frustrated. I hate it when people forgive too easily, it’s really how I said frustrating because usually they let others push them around.

I don’t think it’s about being shy. I’m a very shy person and I’m not confident at all. It’s more about whenever you can stand up for yourself or not, for example I’m a very assertive person even tho I’m shy. It’s different to get involved in conflict with like a stranger (which for me would also be hard to argue) and with a person u knew. Like yeah I still get kinda like scared that I would meet them or smth but I would still stand up for myself because I really regret I didn’t do it. It’s more about your priorities in life, for me for example it’s respect and my rules. I’m shy but I’m not scared to share my views and I don’t care about anyone’s opinion about me except my family. I know I’m in the right and I give my everything to my friends etc so I don’t think conflicts like that are my fault therefor I’m not scared to be vocal about them. I don’t think that has much to do with shyness but more like you approach to life and yourself? Maybe I’m not as shy as u, since I don’t have a problem ordering stuff but I do have problem for example calling out strangers irl or making friends. It’s more about imo whenever u prioritize not getting into conflict or respect towards you. I’m not a pushover, I hate when people try to manipulate me or treat me like it therefor I’m always vocal about my opinions and also I’m pretty petty as well.

That’s why it’s frustrating to me if someone is a pushover. It’s not like “hey u deserve it” but it’s like “hey you let it happen, u don’t try to change it”. Life is not easy and u gotta have guts to stand up for yourself because otherwise people are gonna devour u.

I have very little confidence but I wanna fix it and psychologist really helped my friend with that. So I highly recommend to try it, she was not able to even order food not at all had to ask her friends to do it and now she can go up to random strangers that’s how much it helped her change
