You're going for a western definition. There are parts of the world where marriage between cousins counts as incest and there are some where it doesn't. And here in most asian countries it used to be common. It's also seen in today's age too but not encouraged nowadays.

I explained it on the above text. It's no way count as incest at least in the asian countries I know. But marriage between first cousins are now prohibited in countries like china but it's still legal in japan.
