The FL’s dad only hates the FL cause the mom was a descendant from royalty and when she died he lost his power. He’s also the main villain in the story. He forces them apart more than once. In their past life the dad pulled the strings and forced the ML to ignore the FL telling him if he didn’t he would not only kill people who are important to him and take away his status, but also kill the FL and Elle. The FL only got Elle taken away because her mental state wasn’t the best, and the ML promised he’d give her back their baby when she gets better, but the dad makes him go to war, and while he’s in war the dad brings in the ML’s ex fiancé to take care of Elle without the ML knowing, the war lasted for six years, and the ML sent letters to the FL everyday for six years to see how she was doing, but her dad intercepted the letters and she never got them so she thought she got abandoned. When the ML came back from war he was furious to find out his son thought his ex was his mom and the FL was also dying, all he could do for her was ask her what she wanted in her last moments and she asked to see her son. When she did she passed away almost immediately. After her death the ML asked the FL’s father all bitterly “are you happy now?” And the dad said “I could say I feel a little bit relieved” (╯°Д °)╯╧╧, also it was the ML who made them go back in time so he could fix everything, so basically ML was played FL misunderstood but was also played like a puppet and the FL’s dad is a prick.

Oh my god.... thanks for the spoiler i can finally let go of my uneasiness feeling toward the ML. It must be fucking frightening to lose everyone important to him and being helpless to do anything to handle the situation... i hope they both along with elle will be much much happier
