The description of this story says "perfect & dominating Omega who's at the top of food chain and the painfully average Alpha". Top of the food chain, dominating, those are words that perfectly describe an ALPHA. Those are synonyms for the word Alpha. They really just switched the names and thought they did something? Again, a top and an Alpha are two different things. An Alpha is a mindset, a group of DNA, an ability. A top is a sex position.

You don't seem to understand. I forgot that most of you live like these stories are your whole lives. This concept is stupid. There's many cases where the one who has money and power is the bottom. The "omegaverse" is based off of the balance of power in a pack of animals (usually wolves). If the Omega is no longer weaker than the Alpha, they become the new Alpha, and the Alpha is demoted to Omega. There is no such thing as an Omega being the stronger species than the Alpha. The ranks are based on letters in the greek alphabet. You aren't going to say that something (let's take card in a game for this example) ranked in the A category is weaker than something in the B category, when all the stats are higher and the card is incredibly more powerful than the B card. Now, let's say the B card is more powerful than the A card. that would be an error in the coding, and you would have your team debug that part of the system and fix the code, so the ranks were natural again. You can't switch the power of the letters, but you switch who the letters are designated to.

In "omegaverse" stories, alpha and omega are not terms for domination like in wolves. In these stories, the terms are categories that the humans have made to describe people that produce different types of hormones (allowing omega males to become pregnant). Domination in the social world is not related to the hormones, but how the society views the people that produce the hormones. The domination factor is secondary to the plot, while the hormonal factor is the main point of the omegaverse type of story (while in wolves, domination is the number one factor). In this particular story, the hormones of alpha and omega are the same as other omegaverse plots, but the way that society views omegas/alphas is different than other stories.

The alpha omega in wolves was merely a theory that got debunked years ago. They found out that the alphas were just protective parents and the omegas were the children who follow their lead. But the theory got so popular that people still use it as a kink or a measurement of masculinity today even if the scientist who proposed the hypothesis worked hard on saying it was debunked. There is literally nothing scientific about this. Shut the fuck up.
Bro the definition of alpha and omega is totally fucked up here. This isn't scientifically possible. The Alpha is genetically and mentally the strongest- that's how it works. The Omega is weaker in those areas, and submits to the Alpha in the order of the pack-that's how it works. The basis of this story is literally just mislabeling their genetic makeup. The alpha is the guy in the suit, the omega is the guy in the normal clothes. I've only read a few pages, but come on man. Is this just trying to say that they guy in the suit is the bottom? Or that the normal guy is rough during sex? Then just say that? Because it isn't corrrect. Being an Alpha is a whole lot more than just being a top in sex.
