All of this isn’t Winter’s fault ofc. Their current relationship is the result of a mountain of misunderstandings
Does Winter not remember the hopelessness he felt as a child ???? Like our MC is literally going through that with No HELP and he’s not even catching on the the signs that he should be able to. Winter is too busy wallowing in self pity about his status and life when it would be much better if he just cared to look at MC for one moment.
He would notice the abuse
He would notice the money that’s being stolen by her family
He would notice how she’s dying on the inside
How she has no one on her side in that house.
