Apparently the prince ruins the rebellion and feeds the emperor a pill that turns him into a sword just like she did because the prince knows she’ll leave if he kills the emperor. So she runs away and yeah. Idk if it’s completely accurate tho

If we read the same spoiler...idk what would be so unforgivable. Besides they were never healthy anyways. If anything, it feels like she's worse than dylan. She literally raised him to be her tool for revenge, regardless of his willingness to be so, what she has done and is doing is entirely toxic. She might be physically one year older than him, but she's mentally centuries older and has a very thought out plan of manipulating a vulnerable kid. She targeted him. His actions may 'ruin' her plans but in a way, his actions are the result of her manipulation of a malleable kid into the obsessive person he is. And the fact that she knows and has straight up stated that she wants him obsessed with her rather than indifferent because she knows he only operates on bored or obsessed, and becomes 'scared' when he shows his obsessive nature seems idiotic. That being said, i'm biased towards dylan and i love him and i do want a hea for them.

I mean I understand that too, I don’t think all of her actions are excusable towards him, but all she’s focused on is getting her revenge. She’s manipulative- rightfully so- but I don’t think she’s looking into being a saint. She just wants the empire to fall, and that in itself means that she isn’t a good person. I don’t ship them at all because their dynamic is extremely unhealthy and toxic. I do admit, I’m probably biased towards her because she suffered a lot and Dylan just isn’t my typa guy. Tbh I’m not even reading for the romance anymore.

I don't even know apparently she didn't want anyone to go through the same pain she went through which is kinda hypocritical since she wants to kill him and all.

I think during her time as a sword she wanted to die so bad because death was better then being a sword. I don’t think she’s hypocritical, but rather just taking revenge for the shit he did to her

I also forgot to metion how she changed dylan's destiny and made him into a psychopath.

He was technically, but if I'm right he was a good ruler. I'm pretty sure he killed everyone in the royal family(they were all shitty people) except one and from then on ruled in the shadows. So yeah he was a psychopath but now hes an even bigger one.

I mean yeah ig. Anyways I agree with y’all too, people like to idolize her and make her seem to be a hero or something. She’s clearly not someone to look up to, but she’s a very complex character
