I forgot

how many times I've come back to read this story! lol

This is the most wholesome story and Ruri is my eternal roll!!! His outbreak when he felt betrayed by Takashina pierced me to bits when I first read this and I couldn't get enough of how emotive a character became.

Speaking of Takashina, he's been slick since he first saw him! lol

1. Giving Ruri the full look over when Ruri was trying to give him his flash drive back.
2. Decided to take him to his place instead of giving him money for a taxi after staring at him.
3. Goes ahead and dries Ruri off himself.
4. Starts touching Ruri's lips.
5. Immediately calls Ruri by his first name after being introduced.

And this was just in the first two chapters! lol Takashina may be quiet and blunt, but boy does he headhunt!

Also, that accounting person....sorry. I don't understand why Takashina would be at fault for not recognizing how you feel about him. If anything you're not picking up his obvious signs of "Not Interested." Instead, yeah, you took it out on someone else because Takashina chose him and not you. But with the way you insulted Ruri as you walked off, I wouldn't be interested in speaking to you either. You showed yourself to be a very shallow and very selfish person. That's definitely something I cannot relate to, especially if you're going to sabotage someone else's work in order to get attention....No way.

I personally got pissed with that woman. In fact, I really found no fault in Takashina's actions. He called her out on her unprofessional bs.

When he "compared" them, per her demand, and then she said, "who's fault is that?" My response was, 'Yours! Take some responsibility for your own actions! It's not a crime when someone doesn't like you back. It is disgusting when you terrorize and blame others when you dont get what you want.'

I also hate that he was basically reprimanded for her crying and acting like the victim. Honestly, the poor guy was working in a hostile environment and thanks to those selfish women, so were his coworkers!

Ruri was an oasis at that company for Takashina. I loved seeing them together.

Right!? I never really liked it when Japanese manga does the "you made a girl cry!" thing. It's unwarranted and unfair to the other person who has the right to reject your advances.

i absolutely agree!! at least she apologized to ruri, but i really did find it unnecessary that takashina apologized to that woman. (/TДT)/
