most readers are exaggerating lmao. the story is from Maybelle's POV, and she just want to befriend everyone (and well.. everything. considering that she wants to talk to plants like her mother lol). it's true that Abel has a puppy love and Bellerophon got attracted to Maybelle (due to various reasons), while 15-16 y.o Aslan will directly confess to 11 y,o Maybelle this season (c'mon dude.. give it a chill). i don't really have any problem with shipping tho. the boys never crossed the line.
they still develop a beautiful friendships and improve their family relationship in this season (add Abel's <former> fiancee, Duke of West + Raney, certain spitfire from the east, aslan's father, the nymphs, and khan. the gang will be complete. Poor Phon got stuck alone without family tho, but he doesn't really need it).
and no. Phon never doing "intensely in a sexual way" to Mabel... even with the edited manhwa scenes, this never happens. Phon stated himself that he wants to become maybelle's friend (the rest of the flirt will be concealed in a beautiful song lololol). i wonder why the heck some reader think so (tbh in my country there is no shipping war and Phon never got bashed. we treat it not different like lady Baby situation)
if Phon is guilty of something, it is because he never properly explain his true condition and lowkey goading Maybelle to help him without understanding the full meaning of the "request". maybelle is not happy when she learns the truth, and almost dragged the boy to her father (goddang Rykell must have an educated guess abput what his daughter and disciple doing behind his back, but still let them)

I hate that we are shipping babies. These stories have made it so comfortable to be discussing mature relationships between little kids who would otherwise be forming innocent friendships without adult lenses. Not to mention, Bellerophon is kinda creepy - like intensely in a sexual way towards a little girl. I know he is also young but man, can't she just be a little girl, forming beautiful friendships with all these kids then later in her teenage, choose a path she desires.
Anyway, my point is most of these stories are becoming slightly adultified - there is no such word but you get my meaning. Like imposing adult relationship perceptions on little kids. So that we are here talking about ml when it's an infant or 5 year old girl.
